Catalina Conservancy Divers (CCD) is a membership support group of the Catalina Island Conservancy, a private, non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the preservation of the natural heritage of Santa Catalina Island.

CCD was formed in 1991 with the goal of assisting the Conservancy in achieving its mission with respect to Catalina's marine environment.

The mission of CCD is to document, study and conserve the complex marine environment that surrounds Catalina.

CCD trained Scientific Research Divers conduct a variety of underwater research and long-term monitoring projects designed to document and understand Catalina's underwater environment.

CCD has a Scientific Advisory Board composed of a group of marine science experts that provide guidance to the organization's research projects, and use data collected by research divers to analyze and monitor the underwater environment at Catalina.

CCD co-sponsors, along with USC's Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies, the Southern California Marine Monitoring Conference Series, a conference bringing together researchers focusing on Southern California's marine environment.

CCD conducts a variety of education programs spanning from training research divers in species identification and underwater research methods to training recreational divers at the SCUBA Trail at the Casino Point Underwater Park.

CCD is supported by the Catalina Conservancy Marineros, a sister support organization of the Catalina Island Conservancy, whose members provide boats for CCD research diver teams.
